General info

What are the dates?

August 17th to 20th 2023

I have never heard of Kinfire before. Can you tell me more about it and what happens?

The Kinfire festival is for the whole church: every age, situation and ability, from all over Ireland - we are kin because of him. During the festival, we will gather together in worship, under God's word, to be equipped and encouraged to serve Jesus wherever he has placed us. Our passion is to be a festival that celebrates and serves the local church because it is God's chosen means for reaching the lost of this land. Each day will begin and end gathered together, but throughout the day, there will be seminars, games, excursions or just time to rest and enjoy time with others. Schedule can be found here.

Where is the festival held?

The festival will take place at Kilkenny College, near the heart of the ancient city of Kilkenny. All events will be on campus, and we can offer accommodation for those wishing to stay on-site.

What are the plans for the Children’s and Youth programme?

We want Christian parents to come with confidence that their children will be taught and engaged in an age-appropriate way! While the adults are at their seminars, the kids will be in their own age-specific programme, learning what it means for them to follow Jesus and live for him each day. You can find out more here.
